ワン•ウェンチーは、1959年、台湾．嘉義県生まれ。国立台北芸術大学（台湾）修士号取得。2001年、ヴエネツイア•ビエンナーレで台湾の代表をつとめる他、多数の公共プロジェクトに携わっている。台湾、日本、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ、オーストラリアなど海外でも展示多数。

Wang Wen-Chih was born in 1959 in Chiayi. Taiwan. His M. A. in mixed media was received from Taipei National University of the Arts in Taiwan. He represented Taiwan at the 2001 Venice Biennale and has been behind a number of major public art projects. His work has been exhibited in Taiwan. Japan. Europe. America and Australia.
